Meet the five new members of our Editorial Advisory Board.

HPAC Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of five new members to its Editorial Advisory Board.

Launched more than 15 years ago, the board is comprised of distinguished professionals serving the HVACR industry from across the U.S. Possessing expertise in a variety of engineering and scientific fields, members provide valuable assistance in keeping the magazine on point and on track in its reporting on important industry trends and new research and technology.

Glenn Barrett, PE. Based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Barrett is Engineering Manager at DC Engineering. He is a veteran in commercial refrigeration design, construction, commissioning, and compliance-related issues and is involved in energy modeling, measurement and verification. Charles E. (Chuck) Gulledge III, PE, FASHRAE. An advocate of digital transformation, Gulledge met the moment during the epic challenge of the pandemic as ASHRAE's 2020-2021 President. Today, he still serves as Director of Engineering & Construction at Environmental Air Systems LLC, Greensboro NC. Listen to his 2020 appearance on HPAC On The Air;

Elise Kiland, PE. Based in San Jose CA, Kiland is a project manager at Critchfield Mechanical, Inc., and the upcoming 2025-26 President of Young Engineers of ASHRAE. Listen to her and other YEA colleagues in their March 2024 appearance on HPAC On The Air;

Nancy KohoutPE, LEED AP, is principal and mechanical practice lead at SmithGroup in Chicago. In fall 2024, Kohout chaired the Society's first Women in ASHRAE Leadership Symposium. Listen to her appearance earlier this year on HPAC On The Air;

Ginger Scoggins, PE, FASHRAE, is a mechanical engineer and Founding Partner at Engineered Designs, Inc. She served as the 2023-2024 ASHRAE President and has represented ASHRAE at several global conferences on Climate Change. Scoggins has been a guest multiple times on  HPAC On The Air.
