Energy-Efficiency Leaders to Meet in LA for NAESCO Conference, Nov. 14-16
The National Association of Energy Service Companies will host its 34th Annual Conference Nov. 14-16, in Los Angeles at the Sheraton Grand downtown. The conference will focus on trends and business development practices contributing to growth in the energy-efficiency market. A keynote address will be given by Paul Hibbard, principal at Analysis Group Inc., titled “The Transition of the Electric Power Systems.”
Conference sessions will look at the design of the utilities of the future, smart cities, the impact of big data, and macro policy drivers particularly as these relate to energy service companies.
ESCOs employ Energy Savings Performance Contracts in developing and implementing energy-efficiency retrofit projects common among schools, universities, federal civilian and military facilities, hospitals and municipalities, as well as commercial and industrial facilities. ESCOs have implemented more than $50 billion in comprehensive energy-efficiency retrofit projects over the last three decades.
Conference sessions include:
• “Smart Cities: New Ideas for Building a Connected Infrastructure”
• “Big Data: Do Intelligent, Interoperable Building Systems Create New Business Opportunities for Energy Efficiency?”
• “Will Climate Change Be an Industry Driver Without Paris?”
• “Energy Efficiency Opportunities and Challenges across the Western United States”
• “Battle of the Coasts as California and New York Consider Their Respective Vision of the Utility of the Future”
There will also be a trade show featuring the latest technologies, products and services in the energy-efficiency industry market. See the complete agenda for more information.
Online conference registration closed Nov. 8; walk-ins are welcome to register at the event. Attendees will include ESCO leaders, energy-efficiency vendor representatives, energy efficiency and renewable energy project financiers, policy makers, public administrators, utility energy efficiency program managers, customers working with ESCOs or contemplating an ESCO–delivered energy efficiency retrofit, and innovative thought leaders in energy efficiency technology, design and implementation.
