McQuay International has added a new position to its Solutions Group and hired Mohammed “Mo” Luqman as the vice president of solutions. The move supports the company's plan to grow its facility solutions offering and expand its value-added services.
The McQuay Solutions Group provides energy-efficiency solutions for facilities in the North American market. McQuay solutions enable customers to reduce energy consumption, lower operating and maintenance costs, and realize environmental benefits. The solutions group provides these services to developers, facility owners, and HVAC-system designers to enhance environmental responsibility, manage project risks, and support facility investment.
With more than 20 years of experience in construction, real estate, and energy and facilities management, Luqman will be responsible for leading McQuay's solution group, developing and delivering facilities offerings to customers and clients. Luqman also will be assuming the role of sales general manager and oversee the solutions sales teams as well as the newly acquired modular-central-plant manufacturing facility in Phoenix formerly called HydroKool.
Prior to his role at McQuay, Luqman held positions with EMCOR Facilities group, McKinstry Co., Johnson Controls, and Lydig Construction with roles in both sales and operations.
