In early November, two residential and commercial HVAC equipment manufacturing giants, Goodman Global Group, Inc. and Daikin Industries, Ltd., announced their merger and began the of combining the two companies.
In an effort to answer questions and to talk about the future, the top executives from both companies sat down with Mike Weil, editorial director of both HPAC Engineering and Contracting Business.com magazines to discuss what this means to the companies, their customers, and the HVAC industry overall.
Details will follow, but there is one key point that makes this merger different than other Japanese company mergers: Daikin is retaining the Goodman senior management team.
