Registration and housing is now open for the 2010 AHR Expo. Celebrating its 62nd year, the comprehensive HVACR show is returning to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 25 to 27, 2010.
The AHR Expo (www.ahrexpo.com) will provide more than 45,000 attendees and exhibitor personnel from more than 120 countries the opportunity to see innovations on display from nearly 1,700 exhibitors representing the HVACR industry. As the economy recovers and the pace of new technology coming to market and the push for green buildings increases, the need to be more knowledgeable on industry best practices is greater. To address these issues, the show will have more than 100 educational sessions, workshops, and product presentations, many of which are free to all attendees. Some of the topics will include energy efficiency, indoor-air quality, energy saving/reclaiming, building control/integration/automation, and green-building initiatives/sustainability.
Expanded pavilions will provide professionals important insights into the constantly changing industry. Additionally, many exhibitors will showcase advancements in green technologies as well as emerging segments of the HVACR marketplace. Innovative new products will be showcased in nine different categories at the show’s New Product Technology Theater, including building automation and control, cooling, heating, machinery, plumbing, refrigeration, and software.
With the increase of sustainable products in the marketplace, the show once again will be awarding qualified exhibitors a “Green Product” designation at the show. All exhibiting companies that complete the “Green Product Recognition” form and meet the requirements will be provided with a special sign to display in their booth. The designation will help emphasize the important role played by exhibitors in creating green, sustainable products.
“As a leading information resource for the HVACR industry, it is critical that the AHR Expo keep its attendees on the cutting edge of the latest green products and issues,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Co., which produces and manages the AHR Expo.
In addition, the show will include features such as the Building Automation and Control Showcase, the AHR Expo Innovation Awards Presentation Ceremony, and the Zero Energy Building Display by the U.S. Department of Energy.
