Spencer Fuller, Global YORK Chiller Product Manager, Johnson Controls

Spencer Fuller graduated from The Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his tenure with Johnson Controls, Spencer has held various positions including Global Product Manager for the YORK YMC2 magnetic bearing water-cooled centrifugal chillers and Chiller Solutions Product Portfolio Manager for North America.  As Product Manager for the YMC2 he managed the global product line across three factories and launched a chiller capacity extension. In his role as Product Portfolio Manager, Spencer was responsible for ensuring that YORK air-cooled and water-cooled chillers met current energy standards and customer requirements. In his current role Spencer is responsible for special projects and studies supporting the YORK global air-cooled and water-cooled chiller offering.  Spencer also travels the USA giving educational product and systems presentations from the east coast to the west coast.  Spencer is a LEED Green Associate and member of ASME and ASHRAE.

Engineering Study: The Future of Chilled Water Plants and Waterside Economizers

An engineering study was completed to compare a water-cooled centrifugal chiller with a waterside economizer, to a single water-cooled magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller operating in inverted duty - the YORK YMC2 chiller. In this webinar the results of the study will be presented, summarizing the differences between the two options in terms of chiller plant design, first costs, operating costs, and ownership (maintenance, footprint, and controls).
