You are invited to attend a webinar on carbon monoxide (CO) detection sponsored by NOTFIER by Honeywell. CO, often referred to as "The Silent Killer", claims hundreds of lives and sickens thousands of individuals each year. Legislation, codes and standards continue to evolve at both the local and state level in an effort to reduce these non-fire related CO deaths and injuries. In this educational session, we'll provide an update on the 2011 state legislative/regulation changes.
We'll also review the new CO detection requirements in the 2012 edition of the I-codes and the 2012 edition of NFPA 101, and also recap the key changes to the 2012 edition NFPA 720. Several aspects of "Systems Approach to CO Detection" will be discussed as well.
