Polygon, provider of property-damage-restoration, temporary-humidity-control, and property-performance services, recently released a version of its PsycIt psychometric application for BlackBerry users.
PsycIt allows site managers, quantity surveyors, architects, and technicians to quickly and accurately calculate the amount of relative humidity on site and determine the time needed to dry an area.
PsycIt is said to be simple to use and capable of calculating the most complex air-moisture combinations.
“Being able to calculate the work a system is doing without a chart and calculator saves valuable time,” Alex Kiffen, vice president of sales and marketing for Polygon, said. “PsycIt allows the user to calculate blended-air-stream conditions, convert to either imperial or metric values, and determine work performed by a component. ... It quickly delivers a precise calculation of the climatic conditions so the user can be confident of the accuracy of the measurements and determine if they are keeping their building dry.”
