Aquatherm, North American distributor of German-made polypropylene pipe systems, is No. 1,617 on Inc. magazine’s 2013 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the United States.

One of a small number of plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning companies on the list, Lindon, Utah-based Aquatherm ranks 46th among the top 100 construction companies.

Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2009 to 2012. The median three-year growth for companies on this year’s list is 142 percent. Aquatherm’s three-year growth is 244 percent.

“To be honored this year is a particularly notable achievement,” Inc. Editor in Chief Eric Schurenberg writes on the magazine’s Website. “To rank among the 2013 Inc. 5000, your company had to thrive through three of the toughest years this economy has seen in living memory. Your success in such times is eloquent testimony to your team’s creativity, resilience, and tenacity.”

Early in 2013, Aquatherm appeared on Forbes magazine’s list of America’s 100 most promising companies for the second consecutive year.
