Steve Clark, PE, P.Eng.

After graduating from Montana State University with an engineering degree, Clark worked for several years as a professional engineer before starting his own engineering firm. While working on a large project in the United Kingdom, he discovered Aquatherm polypropylene pipe. In 2007, he acquired North American distribution rights.

In 2012 and 2013, Aquatherm was named to Forbes magazine’s annual list of America’s Most Promising Companies.

Clark regularly published articles and spoke at industry events. For HPAC Engineering, he wrote the Engineering Green Buildings column “Specifying Piping Systems” (December 2009), co-presented the Webinar “Increasing Efficiency and Reducing Cost With Polypropylene Pipe Systems” in June 2012, and demonstrated the heat-fusion pipe-joining method in a video shot during the 2013 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition.

Clark was active in industry associations, serving on ASHRAE Standing Standard Project Committee 189.1, Standard for the Design of High-Performance, Green Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, and The Green Schoolhouse Series advisory board.

A funeral service will be held June 1 at 2 p.m. at the Sharon East Stake Center in Provo, Utah. A visitation for friends and family will be held May 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 650 E. Stadium Ave. in Provo. Another brief viewing will be held before the funeral service, starting at 11:30 a.m. on June 1. Arrangements are being handled by Walker Sanderson Funeral Home.
