New guidance to help project teams get multiple projects at one site or campus certified under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is available.

The "2010 Application Guide for Multiple Buildings and On-Campus Building Projects" was created to provide guidance when applying LEED rating systems to multiple-building and on-campus projects that are on a shared site under the control of a single entity, such as a commercial or educational campus or government installation. These types of building projects represent an opportunity for sustainable planning and design.

This free guidance document is informed by the "2005 Application Guide for Multiple Building and On-Campus Building Projects" and incorporates additional strategies to further streamline the certification process for multiple-building and on-campus projects, while maintaining the technical integrity and rigor of the LEED rating systems. The different certification pathways offered by the 2005 guide have been simplified and broken out into sections that will be released as they are ready for use. Additionally, guidance for operations and maintenance projects now is included in this series.
