Johnson Controls Co-Sponsors Energy-Efficiency Webcast

Energy Efficiency Forum co-sponsors U.S. Energy Association (USEA) and Johnson Controls Inc. will conduct a free Webcast, "Energy Efficiency: Policies, Priorities and Perspectives," on Monday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. EDT. Live via the Internet, the Webcast is the first in a series of online discussions among energy leaders from U.S. businesses, school districts, health-care facilities, and government and non-government organizations.

Decision makers from corporate, government, and non-profit sectors will provide up-to-the minute information about energy-efficiency initiatives and best practices. Attendees will discuss the impact of energy efficiency on organizations resulting from upcoming global-climate-change meetings, congressional legislation, and federal regulations.

Presenters include:
• Welcome: Barry Worthington, USEA executive director
• Global perspectives: Mark Ginsberg, board of directors, energy efficiency and renewable energy, U.S. Department of Energy
• Resource priorities: Steve Nadel, executive director, American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy
• Energy-efficiency policies: Maria Vargas, director, strategic partnerships, climate protection division, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
• Marketplace perspectives: Clay Nesler, vice president, global energy and sustainability, building efficiency, Johnson Controls Inc.
• Discussion moderated by Barry Worthington, including e-mailed questions
