Competition recognizes building owners, end users, OEMs

Danfoss, manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and motion systems, is accepting entries for its third annual EnVisioneer of the Year competition.

Launched in 2010, the competition recognizes U.S. end users, building owners, and original equipment manufacturers that have introduced a new product, opened a new facility, or invested in a building or system upgrade over the previous 18 months using Danfoss products or solutions to realize significant energy and/or environmental savings.

A panel of judges representing different disciplines in the HVACR industry will review the applications and select the winner. The award will be presented during the 2012 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) in Chicago in January. A donation to Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving affordable homeownership and revitalizing communities, will be made in the winner's honor.

2011’s winner was MultiStack LLC, manufacturer of high-efficiency modular chillers for commercial, industrial, and government applications.

The deadline for entries is Jan. 12, 2012. For more information and to submit an entry, click here, or contact Lisa Tryson, director, corporate communications and public relations, at LisaTryson@danfoss.com or 410-513-1142.
