ASHRAE

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is accepting proposals for a user's manual for ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2010, Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings.

Standard 90.1-2010 is being developed with the goal of a 30-percent energy-cost-savings improvement compared with the 2004 version of the standard. Proposals for the Standard 90.1-2010 user's manual are due by Nov. 17.

ASHRAE also is accepting proposals for a user's manual for ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2010, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, which are due by Dec. 3.
