The 2011 ASHRAE Winter Conference, to be held Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 in Las Vegas, features a new interactive scheduler that allows users to customize personal conference schedules. The scheduler can integrate technical-program sessions; technical-, standing-, or standard-project-committee meetings; ASHRAE Learning Institute courses; and other appointments. The scheduler can search the conference’s technical program by day, track, and presenter.
The schedules can be retrieved at any time from any computer with an Internet connection. Schedules can be exported to various calendars, such as Outlook, Palm Desktop, Google calendar, and Lotus Notes, and personalized program booklets can be printed.
Conference attendees who also register as Virtual Conference participants later will be able to use the scheduler to access recorded presentations and exchange thoughts with presenters.
