Titus Revamps Blower-Coil Line

Sept. 16, 2015
The blower coils’ flexibility and range of options allow them to satisfy the indoor-air-quality requirements of any commercial application.

Titus HVAC recently upgraded and expanded its blower-coil product line.

Along with their ability to be maneuvered easily and to fit in small spaces, these compact air handlers come in both horizontal and vertical alignments for floor or ceiling mounting. The blower coils’ flexibility and range of options allow them to satisfy the indoor-air-quality requirements of any commercial application, including schools, health-care facilities, and retail and office buildings.

Horizontal blower coils, which are installed in ceilings, offer a wide range of application flexibility while maintaining a simple, easy-to-install unit design. These units are intended to provide comfort cooling and heating within small spaces. Vertical belt-drive units, ideal for closets, hallways, and bathrooms, can be laid on top of each other; typically, they are utilized in applications with larger volumes.

Achieving higher airflows than fan-coil units, the blower coils, which range from 800 to 10,000 cfm, have the capacity to service much larger facilities than fan coils. Their belt-driven system offers more flexibility in terms of fan speed and cost advantage than a similarly sized direct-drive system.

In addition to standard vertical and horizontal models, reduced-footprint vertical models are available.
