Drives Maker Marks Milestone

Feb. 1, 2009

The 1 millionth ABB ACS/ACH550 general-purpose drive rolled off the production line Dec. 2, making ACS/ACH550 the first ABB drive family to surpass the 1-million mark. Production of the drive line began five years ago at ABB's Helsinki, Finland, factory. Today, it is produced at five factories on three continents.
