Brazed-plate heat exchangers

Brazed-plate heat exchangers are tailored for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and can be customized for specific application requirements. Each unit consists of a series of thin, corrugated metal plates that are brazed together to improve heat-transfer efficiency. The plates are compressed together in a rigid frame to create an arrangement of parallel flow channels in which one high-viscosity fluid travels through the odd-numbered channels and another high-viscosity fluid flows through the even-numbered channels. Fifteen models are well-suited for application in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical-process industries; indirect- and direct-air compressors; and commercial refrigeration applications, such as supermarket systems, ice-making machines, and beer cooling.

Data-acquisition application

Article Tools

A SQL-based data-acquisition application, RC-Archive 2.0 is used to create long-term trendlogs archived from multiple buildings. End users quickly can access numerous trendlogs from multiple buildings, which automatically are polled using Ethernet communications. Alarm messages can be sent via e-mail by the server to communicate server status.
