ASHRAE Sets Tech Program for 2005 Annual Meeting

Ventilation strategies for maintaining good indoor-air quality dominate the technical program for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' (ASHRAE's) 2005 Annual Meeting, to be held June 25-29 in Denver.

Twenty-nine of the meeting's 100 technical sessions will focus on ventilation. Among them:

  • A seminar reviewing the state of the art in operating-room air-distribution design.

  • A seminar examining challenges in commercial-kitchen ventilation design.

Other topics will include alternative and sustainable technologies, energy management and controls, load calculations, homeland security, operation and maintenance, commissioning, and refrigeration.
