Q&A Session on HVAC Design, Engineering Simulation Set

Nov. 22, 2016
On Nov. 29, SimScale and Desanco will conduct a live question-and-answer session on HVAC design and engineering simulation via the SimScale Forum.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon CET, computer-aided-engineering company SimScale and engineering-services firm Desanco will conduct a live question-and-answer session on HVAC design and engineering simulation via the SimScale Forum.

Led by Tariq Malik, business-development manager for Desanco, Desanco and SimScale engineers will answer questions such as:

  • What problems do HVAC designers and engineers have when it comes to energy efficiency, and what are the solutions?
  • What are some creative and functional techniques for introducing ventilation when designing underground structures?
  • How can you ensure thermal comfort in a building with computational-fluid-dynamics analysis?
  • How can I visualize smoke propagation in an underground garage and test the ventilation system?

To participate, create a SimScale account for free here, and post a question on the dedicated forum topic anytime before the day of the session. If you already have created an account, post your questions here.

For those who cannot attend the live session, the organizers promise to answer all questions in writing.

SimScale is an engineering simulation platform completely accessible via a standard Web browser. It is, the company says, “not just another simulation software, but an ecosystem in which simulation functionality, content, and people are brought together in one place.”
