Titus Launches Virtual-Reality HVAC Training Platform

April 18, 2017
Titus VR allows HVAC professionals to test how products and systems perform in simulated applications prior to installation.

Titus, provider of air-management products and design tools, recently launched Titus VR, a technology allowing HVAC professionals to test how products and systems perform in simulated applications prior to installation.

“We’ve found Millennials and the next wave of HVAC professionals enjoy a hands-on experience that is both visual and mobile,” Jenny Sivie, director of advanced business development, Titus, said. “Titus VR taps into that.”

Currently offering immersive experiences for chilled beams and underfloor modules, Titus VR enables engineers to see how products and modules function in buildings without having to be on site, reducing travel time and expenses. Architects, meanwhile, can see how equipment looks prior to installation, while contractors can visualize the installation process.

Titus VR can be used in any application, including education, medical, and office spaces.

Titus plans to roll out headsets for wider use at spring and fall open houses and at customer-appreciation events. Those interested in Titus VR should contact their local Titus representative.
