2014 AHR Expo: European AHU Supplier Launches North American Ops

Jan. 21, 2014
VTS Group built a manufacturing and assembly, training, and administrative facility in Buford, Ga., and is looking to expand distribution throughout the U.S.
VTS Group, European supplier of air-handling units (AHU), air curtains, and water heaters, announced the launch of North American operations during a press conference at the 2014 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) today.

VTS Group built a manufacturing and assembly facility, training center, and administrative offices in Buford, Ga., and is looking to expand its distribution base throughout the United States.

Doing business out of 92 locations in 40 countries with more than 500 employees, VTS Group was established in 1989. Since that time, more than 630,000 of the company’s units have been installed in commercial HVAC applications worldwide.

“Offering flexible, reliable solutions that can be ordered, delivered, and installed in a short one-week time frame, VTS has achieved growth and customer satisfaction on a worldwide scale,” Dariusz Szylman, president of VTS America, said. “Our equipment is presently installed in notable projects ranging from renowned resorts to signature office buildings to government and educational structures to health-care facilities.”

The company’s VENTUS “Born in the USA” line of AHU was engineered for North American applications in a broad range of markets, including health-care facilities, office buildings, schools, and retail environments.

In addition to the United States, VTS Group operates production plants in Poland, India, the United Arab Emirates, and China. The company says it has established long-term relationships with component-manufacturing partners, service companies, retail chains, and HVAC-equipment dealers. It can tailor AHU assembly to individual customer and application needs at a VTS Group assembly hub or at a job site by an authorized service team.
