GALLERY: Vintage HVAC Advertisements, 1932

Sept. 30, 2014
FLASHBACK: Advertisements from 1932, the fourth year of HPAC Engineering magazine, then called Heating Piping and Air Conditioning.

Being in the midst of the Great Depression, 1932 saw many people and businesses struggle, but always looking ahead to the future. Americans held their heads high in the Winter Olympics at Lake Placid and at the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly the transatlantic flight solo, and in Washington, D.C., the FBI Crime Lab officially opened. Here you can view a sample of some advertisers who were not afraid to look ahead!
