Variable-Air-Volume Controllers

Feb. 5, 2013
Variable-air-volume controllers implement the energy conservation requirements and sequences of operation of ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1- 2012 and the 2012 IECC.

MACH-ProAir (MPA) advanced variable-air-volume controllers are designed to provide intrinsic simplicity, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. They feature a dynamic database and easy, custom programmability, and a library of standard applications that implement the energy conservation requirements and sequences of operation of ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1- 2012 and the 2012 IECC.  Features include flow- and motor-control algorithms embedded in the MACH-ProAir firmware, with parameters used by the algorithms hard-coded into the controller’s points; an improved flow sensor that can handle +/- 2 in. WC; a slide switch end-of-line network terminator; and a new 4-pole large screw terminal block. —Reliable Controls
