Tridium and 3e Technologies International (3eTI) have entered into a strategic alliance that includes 3eTI incorporating Tridium’s Niagara framework into its EnergyGuard solution for military, government, industrial and utility markets.

Tridium and 3e Technologies International (3eTI) have entered into a strategic alliance that includes 3eTI incorporating Tridium’s Niagara framework into its EnergyGuard solution for military, government, industrial, and utility markets.

Tridium provides open platforms, application software frameworks, automation infrastructure technology, energy management and device-to-enterprise integration solutions. 3eTI is a provider of highly secure wireless networks that enable critical systems security, infrastructure security and industrial automation for the military, government, industrial and utility markets.

3eTI's EnergyGuard is compatible with most supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation systems and adds Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 validated and common-criteria-certified security technology to deliver a cyber-security solution for energy management. Accoridng to 3eTi, EnergyGuard affords customers the opportunity to establish an enterprise network of disparate and proprietary industrial automation and SCADA systems across a secure wireless network into a central monitoring environment. By centrally monitoring these high-energy-consuming systems and leveraging a secure wireless network, customers can significantly increase their energy efficiently while reducing their costs.
