McQuay International has announced the acquisition of HydroKool LLC, a custom HVAC-solutions manufacturer, headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. HydroKool previously was owned by Tri-City Mechanical, a division of Comfort Systems USA.
HydroKool manufactures custom pre-engineered HVAC solutions, including McQuay's Modular Central Plants, which offer an alternative to site-built central plants with pre-engineered, pre-assembled modules offering high-efficiency chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and piping. HydroKool's design and flexible manufacturing capabilities will be expanded to support McQuay Solutions Group.
