Combination flow meter and control valve
The Electronic Pressure Independent Valve (ePIV) is designed for use with building automation systems to perform control and energy-management strategies. It directly measures flow by combining a magnetic flow meter and a two-way control valve. An actuator modulates the control valve to maintain flow regardless of pressure variations, and the flow reading is reported back to the controller. The product range consists of 2-in. to 6-in. valves.

Silent check valves
The 700 Series and 900 Series globe-style check valves are designed to eliminate water hammer and operate smoothly and silently. The valves features a center-guided single disc and bronze-to-bronze seating with a stainless-steel spring control to ensure positive, noiseless opening and closing.

Mobile Valve Website
A Website has been launched to provide easy access to information about valves via mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablet computers. The site provides customers with a convenient way to access technical information in the field for valves and systems and devices that use valves. The features of the site include videos that give step-by-step instructions for inspection, service, and repair, as well as comprehensive “system reset” videos that detail the operation of various systems and include instructions for putting systems back into service. Other resources include links to product-specific frequently asked questions, troubleshooting guides, and installation manuals.

Thermostatic mixing valve
The MultiFLEX thermostatic mixing valve line is designed to achieve a mix of hot and cold water that safeguards against scalding, prevents bacteria growth, and also increases hot-water-system capacity. The valve delivers water at a safe temperature while allowing the heater to be set at a germ-killing 140°F. MultiFLEX includes a Heatguard thermostatic valve, a flexible connector, and a water-heater tee. It is available in ¾-in. male national pipe thread by ¾-in. female national pipe thread.

High-volume valve line
RPVM1 valves are engineered to provide high-volume purging, accurate balancing, and positive drip-tight shutoff. Designed to increase safety, flexibility, and value, the valves feature aluminum port handles to ease opening and closing, tethered covers to help prevent scalding, and packing nuts designed to allow installers to adjust fit and avoid leaks. The line comprises six models that accommodate ¾-in., 1-in., or 1¼-in. connections. Each valve consists of a one-piece brass body, plated brass ball, virgin PTFE seats, hose thread connection, and cast-aluminum purge port handle. The maximum working pressure is 50 psi.

High-capacity drain tempering valve
The 1-in. drain-tempering valve (DTV) is designed for applications in which a high volume of effluent with temperature exceeding 140°F must be tempered. Common applications where water hotter than 140°F becomes a concern include boiler blowdown, commercial dish washers, laundries, discharge from humidifiers, autoclaves, commercial coffee makers, and condensate drains. The valve is completely self-operating and easy to install. Because the valve is open only when the effluent exceeds the specified set-point temperature, it conserves water by automatically turning off cold water when it is not needed.
