A four-hour online professional training course on the use of data loggers for performance monitoring will be held in two 2-hr sessions (1-3 p.m. EST) on Dec. 6 and 8.

Developed and presented by energy consultant and educator Mark Stetz, PE, of Stetz Consulting LLC and hosted by data-logger supplier Onset, "Using Data Loggers for Performance Monitoring" targets energy professionals involved in building commissioning, measurement and verification, energy audits, and HVAC diagnostics and comfort monitoring. Participants will learn how to apply data loggers to HVAC equipment, lighting systems, and occupied spaces and interpret collected data to understand building-system behavior and identify problems.

The cost of the course is $395. The first 50 paid registrants will receive a free HOBO U12-012 temperature/humidity data logger and HOBOware Pro graphing and analysis software, neither of which is needed for course participation. Four Green Building Certificate Institute CE hours will be awarded upon completion of the course.
