Honeywell Acquires INNCOM

Honeywell recently announced the acquisition of INNCOM, a privately held Niantic, Conn.-based provider of software-based energy-management solutions and in-room controls for lodging, health-care, and educational facilities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Honeywell recently announced the acquisition of INNCOM, a privately held Niantic, Conn.-based provider of software-based energy-management solutions and in-room controls for lodging, health-care, and educational facilities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition broadens Honeywell’s customer base into the global lodging industry, particularly in the Middle East, India, and Asia Pacific. INNCOM’s lodging customers range from mid-scale hotels to five-star luxury properties, including Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt, St. Regis, Four Seasons, Radisson, and Kimpton.

INNCOM will be integrated into Honeywell’s Environmental & Combustion Controls business.

In 2011, INNCOM posted sales of $24 million. It has 115 employees.
