The Green Mechanical Council (GreenMech) has launched an interactive job board, the GreenMech Career Center, which focuses on mechanical-industry companies and professionals. The career center offers a targeted resource for online employment connections.

Both members and non-members of GreenMech can use the career center to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to e-mail qualified candidates daily. Employers also benefit from online reporting that provides job-activity statistics. Members of GreenMech receive discounts when posting jobs.

For job seekers, the career center is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the mechanical industry. In addition to posting resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review. Job seekers also can create a search agent to provide e-mail notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

Registered employers and job seekers also have access to the Engineering Science Career Network (ESCN), a growing network of engineering and science associations. GreenMech's alliance with the ESCN increases access to more than 16,000 resumes and 450 job postings.
