Grooved Mechanical Pipe-Joining Systems
By LARRY THAU, Victaulic Company Inc., Lehigh Valley, Pa.

Like all materials, pipe experiences dimensional changes as a result of changes in temperature, expanding when heated and contracting when cooled. The key to accommodating thermal expansion and contraction in a piping system is to allow predictable and controlled piping-system movement. [MORE]

TRIPLE-FLEX™ ULTRA-HIGH EFFICIENCY BOILERS Bryan Triple-Flex™ (patent pending) Ultra-High Efficiency Condensing Boilers feature flexible stainless steel tubes, minimum thermal efficiency of 90% with 160° return, 180° supply at 100% firing load. Efficiencies of 99% are achievable with lower return water temperatures as found in new building designs. Triple-Flex boilers fire at 3,000 MBH input, with sub 30 PPM NOx utilizing a hybrid metal fiber 5:1 turndown burner. Triple-Flex boilers are suited to deliver the industries highest operating efficiencies up to 99% in new buildings designed for condensing boiler conditions and better than 90% efficiency in retrofit applications not designed for condensing boilers.http://www.bryanboilers.com/--Bryan Steam LLC
Low NOx Condensing Boiler AERCO has re-designed its two-million BTU/hour Benchmark 2.0 Low NOx condensing boiler to reduce its footprint (79”H x 28”W x 36”D), electrical consumption (120V) and gas pressure requirements (4”) while maintaining unmatched 20:1 turndown to maximize fuel savings. Engineers and contractors can employ the environmentally-friendly, high-efficiency boiler in a wider variety of hydronic heating applications due to the new design.
