ASHRAE Sets Technical Program for Annual Conference

ASHRAE will hold its 2013 Annual Conference June 22-26 in Denver.

The technical program will kick off early June 23 with interactive programs and a networking coffee break. The technical program will address "the practitioner’s needs for the built-environment industry," with tracks such as Building Energy Modeling vs. Measurement and Verification, Renewable and Alternative Energy Sources, and Mile-High Efficiency and Equipment.

The Integrated Project Delivery mini-conference, which will take place June 23 and 24, will present successes and lessons learned.

A newly created Research Summit comprising some 30 sessions, 22 of which are paper-based, will bring together distinguished researchers to discuss the latest research results, innovative research techniques, and future research directions.

The ASHRAE Learning Institute will offer seven in-depth training courses, including a new professional-development seminar, “Operations and Maintenance of High-Performance Buildings,” and a new short course, “Optimization of HVAC Systems and Their Components.”

Technical tours will include National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Pepsi Center, the Solar Technology Acceleration Center, and the Denver Zoo.
